Opportunity Details

For Canadian nurses, relocation to North Carolina is quick and easy. Plus, we provide support along the way, including:

  • A dedicated recruiter that will work with you individually throughout your process
  • Initial phone screening to determine your areas of interest and time frame for relocating
  • Phone interview with hiring managers to determine if this is the right fit for both parties
  • No out-of-pocket costs for onsite interviews in North Carolina – all costs, including airfare and/or mileage will be pre-paid

Once you accept an offer, we provide:

  • Reimbursement for the NCLEX exam

Vidant Medical Center (Greenville)

Vidant Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center is a 974-bed tertiary referral center providing acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to more than 1.4 million people. In recognition of its nursing excellence and high-quality patient care, Vidant Medical Center has been designated a Magnet® facility by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Vidant Beaufort Hospital (Washington)

Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington is a full-service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians representing 20+ specialties, as well as more than 600 nurses, technicians and support staff. The hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. Vidant Beaufort also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.

Vidant Bertie Hospital (Windsor)

Vidant Bertie Hospital is a state-of-the-art, six-bed critical access hospital in Windsor. It is closely affiliated with Vidant Medical Center, a Level I academic medical center, and the telemedicine resources of The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The hospital offers high quality surgical, emergency and diagnostic services, as well as specialty and primary care clinics.

Vidant Chowan Hospital (Edenton)

Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. It offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 16,000 patients per year.

Vidant Duplin Hospital (Kenansville)

Vidant Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed hospital located in Kenansville. The renovated, 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 27,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, Vidant Duplin offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

Vidant Edgecombe Hospital (Tarboro)

Personal, compassionate care as close to home as possible for the residents of Tarboro, Edgecombe County and surrounding communities—that’s what we deliver at this acute-care facility. Our staff represents more than 20 specialties and services, including rehabilitation, oncology and outpatient clinics, and our new Women and Children’s Care Unit is a great addition to the community.

Vidant North Hospital (Roanoke Rapids)

Vidant North Hospital, in Roanoke Rapids, is a 204-bed facility offering an array of medical, surgical and 24-hour emergency care. The hospital is staffed by over 60 physicians representing most medical specialties. Our service area includes a wide region of counties in both North Carolina and Virginia along the I-95 corridor.

The Outer Banks Hospital (Nags Head)

The Outer Banks Hospital (OBH) is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. The hospital's 21-bed emergency department serves approximately 23,100 patients each year. OBH is fully accredited, provides high quality care in a compassionate environment to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and has been nationally recognized for outstanding patient care.

James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital (Greenville)

The James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital, located on the campus of Vidant Medical Center, is designed to care for children from newborns to 18 years of age (and up to 21 years of age is patient is being followed by a pediatric physician). The 206,499 square foot 197-bed facility provides highly specialized services including a pediatric intensive care (PICU), neonatal intensive care (NICU), kids immunosuppressed specialty unit (KISU), specialty care nursery, mother-baby unit, pediatric ECMO services, 24/7 children’s emergency department, acute dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), pediatric radiology, pediatric rehabilitation, general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and craniofacial surgery. The James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital at Vidant Medical Center is a designated Children’s Miracle Network hospital, placing it among the nation’s top children’s facilities.
