Position Summary

The Corporate Health Program Coordinator will provide leadership and direction for programming related to occupational health services, which includes VH Occupational Health Programs, Workers Compensation, and Contracted Business and Industry programs that perform occupational health, onsite acute health clinics, and workers compensation. This position includes the provision programming, implementation, and evaluation to improve quality of care, enhance cost savings, Program consistency, improve client satisfaction, and optimize services offered. The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with Occupational Health Clinical Leadership, Business and Industry leaders and contracted staff, team member safety, and other clinical leaders to enhance the delivery of services offered to our team members and the external contract customers we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programs and services within Occupational Health and External Clinical Contracted sites
  • Planning, development, and evaluation of all occupational health programs and services.
  • Operationalize a mobile team to implement VMC Occupational Health services to better meet the needs of our team members. 
  • Provides oversight to supplemental staff, interns, and teams that are participating in occupational health programming efforts. 
  • Assists in the development and implementation of team member safety program.
  • Provides leadership, vision, and assistance to team member safety team to help prevent injuries and reduce severity of workers compensation claims. 
  • Facilitates positive relationships and communications between departments and key stakeholders, help determine their needs to improve compliance and accessibility of all 
     

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 year college degree plus other school is required. 
  • At least 5 years of full time experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of occupational health medicine and proficient in basic business principles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement programs to meet occupational health needs for both internal and external customers.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of professionals within a large integrated healthcare system and industrial settings.
