We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Primary duties will be related to community COVID initiatives both within and external of the organization. Responsible for creating the first impression of the organization's services to patients and families and other external customers.
Work in a COVID related role within the Vidant Health System, in varying settings that may include regional medical clinic settings, office environments, mobile testing sites, laboratory settings, and/or hospital settings. Support Vidant's mission to meet the needs of region wide communities in response to the COVID pandemic, related resources, testing initiatives, treatment options, and vaccination initiatives.
High School diploma or equivalent (or greater) is preferred
Additional requirements listed below:
Laboratory Technician/Assistant - 1 year of formal training or 1 year of education in the Medical or Computer Science field. Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology or other health sciences program strongly preferred.
PCR Testing experience strongly preferred
At least on year experience as Phlebotomist, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or health care environment preferred
