Position Summary
Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities. The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of Vidant Health and the pharmacy department by providing not only foundational dispensing activities but also compounding hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.
Minimum Requirements
High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
1 year of related experience
Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
Preferred Requirements
Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree - Pharmacy Technology
1 year of experience in hospital or retail pharmacy setting
Certification through National Pharmacy Technician Association - CPhT
Other Information
Full time with benefits. Hours are 7a-3p with possible 11-730p fill in as needed
