The Patient Access Services, Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for providing Revenue Cycle quality audits on patient registrations using daily work queues by supporting the Data Integrity Team. The incumbent is responsible for assisting with monitoring/tracking registration data quality, correcting errors, identifying trends, curriculum development, and providing continuous support of operational leadership. This individual will be knowledgeable in end-user systems and applications relative to revenue cycle management for the purpose of assessing, educating and training staff on systems and applications used.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Some college (1-2 years)/bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related preferred
3 years of experience in healthcare setting required; at least 2 years in Patient Access preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid problem solving capabilities to identify data element and compliance issues, prepare audit reports, and identify trends
PC proficient with experience in QA software preferred
Ability to pay attention to detail
Proven ability to effectively lead a group and support fellow leadership members
Proven knowledge and experience in analytics and problem solving with the ability to recognize trends or anomalies
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
Working knowledge of MS Office Product
