Position Summary

The Annual Giving Coordinator will support the development and execution of fundraising programs for a multi-channel (print, email, web, and social) and donor-centric communication strategy throughout the annual giving cycle, from identification to solicitation to stewardship.

As part of the Annual Giving team, the Annual Giving Coordinator with assist with programs and initiatives to support the philanthropic needs of the Vidant Health system through the Vidant Health Foundation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Professional experience in a fundraising organization with exposure to donor programs and philanthropy best practices.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, including Microsoft Excel required.
  • Working knowledge of prospect database software (e.g. Salesforce) preferred.
  • Proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Good decision-making skills, tactful, good listener, willingness to search out answers, ability to recognize when others need to be involved in activities or decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and maintain professionalism.
  • Commitment to a high standard of customer service.
