Vidant Medical Group is a reputable and established multi-specialty physician group that provides superior care for the health and wellness needs of eastern North Carolina's patients. With 500 primary and specialty care providers in 90 locations, quality health care is never far from home.

Position Summary

1.  Maintains ongoing physician recruitment process within parameters of established program.
2.  Analyzes and proposes productivity and incentive plans for employed/contracted physicians.
3.  Assists with the development and analysis of physician manpower needs assessments.
4.  Provide assistance in procuring locum tenens coverage for Vidant Health and regional needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Four year degree in Business or health related field preferred.
  • One to two years experience in physician recruitment experience for hospitals or physician practices.  Experience should include candidate sourcing, cold calling, contact development, contract development and negotiation, and site visit logistics.
  • Two to three years experience in direct physician pharmaceutical sales may be substituted for the physician recruitment experience requirement.
