Responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of individualized Recreational Therapy services for patients with physical, social, emotional and/or cognitive impairments based on evidenced based practice and research. Scope of service includes general adult, Geriatric/ Psyc-med, MR/MI and acute services on the Behavioral Health unit. This position functions as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Bachelor's Degree or higher
0-2 years related experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Non-violent crisis intervention training. If not current at time of hire, must complete within first 30 days of employment and maintained without lapse during employment.
Recreational Therapy Licensure
Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist
