Position Summary

As a Patient Acces Representative, you will be performing patient registration and providing insurance benefits interpretation and counseling. Maintains medical terminology skills and knowledge of third party payer regulations. Excellent customer service is vital due to performing patient and customer relations. Completes other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent (GED) is required
  • 2 years Customer Service is required
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required
  • Basic computer skills


Preferred:

  • Associate Degree: preferred
  • Bachelors Degree: preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of Registration and/or Billing experience within a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge preferred
  • Insurance Benefit and Counseling Knowledge preferred
     

Other Information

  • Full-Time (36 hours a week)
  • Monday - Wednesday (8 am - 5 pm)
  • Thursday (1 pm - 5 pm)
  • Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
