The Service Line Coordinator is responsible for registration, charge capture, administrative support and other tasks necessary for successful operations of the assigned service lines. Acts as a personal secretary the Administrator with responsibility over multiple cost centers. Handles communications and acts as receptionist. Types and processes various materials. Performs office/administrative duties. May coordinate/direct duties and activities of various lower level clerical positions. Ensures that departmental processes meet the appropriate quality standards. Acts as change agent for the department to facilitate quality improvement when opportunities are identified. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires High School Graduate, equivalent, formal training, or higher education or education in Secretarial Sciences, Business or Accounting required. Computer skills.
Requires at least one year of work experience in a healthcare institution, physician office, clinic or related. Advanced computer knowledge is essential.
