We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary

The grants specialist may function in data management/analysis, information technology related, compliance and/or administrative support within the Grants Office. Serve as system administrator for grants management software, Amplifund.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in public health, business, information management, information technology or medical field required.  Associates Degree in business, information management, information technology or medical field may be substituted when accompanied by 2-4 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in database management, data analysis, office management, grants/government/research compliance or related field experience in a hospital or health-related setting preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools technical writing
