Position Summary

  • Plans, organizes, develops and completes projects using analytical techniques for the entities of Vidant Health (VH).
  • Prepares Medicare, Medicaid and Champus Cost Reports and related schedules  for the entities of VH in accordance with all applicable Federal and State Rules and Regulations.
  • Analyzes, develops and coordinates the proper recording of deductions from revenue for various VH entities.
  • Reads and interprets federal regulations for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Champus.  Utilizes knowledge of regulations to provide guidance on reimbursement issues to applicable entities or departments.
  • Works with auditors during Audits of Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports.
  • Prepares and Analyzes  various schedules for the entities of VH.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 year college degree in Accounting/Healthcare Admin/Finance, Business or related
  • 2 to 3 years experience working for CMS, other health care facilities in reimbursement related functions (preferably hospital) or Health Care Division of  an Auditing Firm
