Vidant North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute bed facility where residents of Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in North Carolina and Mecklenburg, Brunswick and Greensville in Virginia receive a wide range of health services close to home. Primary duties will be related to community COVID initiatives both within and external of the organization. Responsible for creating the first impression of the organization's services to patients and families and other external customers.
Work in a COVID related role within the Vidant Health System, in varying settings that may include regional medical clinic settings, office environments, mobile testing sites, laboratory settings, and/or hospital settings. Support Vidant's mission to meet the needs of region wide communities in response to the COVID pandemic, related resources, testing initiatives, treatment options, and vaccination initiatives.
RN: The Staff Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care and supervise departmental partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes. The Staff Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span, and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patien's status, and interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his or her age and condition.
LPN: Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care. Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development.
