The Director of Service Line Development, Women's and Children's Services will have the overall responsibility for the successful development and implementation of strategic, programmatic, and operational planning for the Women's and Children's service line across Vidant Health. This position will develop a strategic framework and implement operational strategies for Women's and Children's services in Maynard Children's Hospital, Care Coordination and pediatric Population Health for patients in Eastern North Carolina.
The Director of Service Line Development is responsible for advancing the mission of Vidant Health by providing sound leadership in coordination with the Vice President for Women's and Children's services as well as other organizational leaders across Vidant Health and leaders within the 29 county region of Eastern North Carolina.
Experience working with community stakeholders
Has strong financial accumen and can develop proposals.
Understands basic hospital operations and ambulatory processes.
Understands and is able to synthesize data and develop department monthly reports to look at admissions, re-admissions, etc.
