Position Summary

  • The Environmental Services Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination and distribution of work assignments and client requests to staff members as directed by members of Management. Primary duties include answering the Environmental Services switchboard in a professional and courteous manner, logging requests and concerns, distributing information to staff and Managers, and monitoring Tele-Tracking for prompt and thorough completion of discharges.
  • Secondary duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Courtesy Phone Calls to patients.
  • Reviewing Team Members Bed-Tracking Response Times.
  • Reviewing & Providing Insolation Room Reports from Tele-Tracking.
  • Providing Daily Throughput Reports (Pending Bed Request/Staffed Blocked Beds/Bed Available for Maintenance).

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
  • Zero to two years related experience
  • Healthcare or Hospital setting experience with Housekeeping procedures are desired.
  • Able to understand and follow written and oral communication and instructions.
  • Handle a high volume of telephone calls, and have proper phone etiquette.
  • Basic PC skills (word processing, email, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

  • 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
