Lead Tech will take the lead in several areas, including handling referrals, working to get data on newborn screens submitted monthly, providing orientation and direction for the other techs.
Performs inpatient newborn hearing screenings - primary
Office duties: maintaining/requesting updated patient referrals, requesting prior authorizations, scheduling, filing
Assists as second tester in soundbooth for Audiologists
High School plus 1-2 yrs of formal training/education
High school diploma is required
Additional training in the field of Audiology; hearing screens is required
1 year to 3 years in Audiology office or similar setting is required
Full time with benefits
Monday to Friday 8-430 with at least one weekend a month and holiday rotation required
Flexibility with holiday/weekend schedule as needs arise
