Position Summary

As a Referral Coordinator, you must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate operations of the referral processes, including, but not limited to pre-certifications, and scheduling appointments. Must demonstrate and maintain professionalism in assisting customers and co-workers with an enthusiastic and courteous attitude. The Referral Coordinator will coordinate operations and processes of the Centralized Referral Office. Need to be familiar with medical terms and provide organizational skills, along with being able to multitask. Office equipment operation and additional duties as required by practice manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School + 1-2 years formal training/education is required
  • Must possess CPT and ICD-9/10 coding knowledge
  • Must know medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
  • 1-3 years related work experience
  • Must possess computer skills, with Excel and Word knowledge/experience
  • Medical Office experience is preferred

Other Information

  • Full-Time (40 hours a week)
  • Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
