Position Summary

Health Services Account Representative assists in the coordination of outpatient/nonpatient billing and accounts receivable for the Outreach department of the laboratory, which can also include phlebotomy services. To serve as the liaison between the hospital laboratory and the outside accounts. To provide internal and external courier functions as related to the Outreach program.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma, equivalent or greater. 
  • 1 - 2 years experience in a clinical laboratory or related field required.
  • NC Driver's License required
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred

Other Information

  • Full time with benefits
  • Works in Main Lab (may get pulled to cover in Family Medicine or Moye office during different shifts)
  • Hours will be 2:00pm to 10:30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Weekend coverage for Patient Testing and Covid Site as needed
  • Other hours if needed. Training may be during day shift hours
