Leadership and management accountability and decision-making authority for setting strategies, priorities, operational plans, and budgets for total rewards, HRIS and HR service delivery.
Supports the vision, develops strategies, leads the integration, and provides ultimate oversight for total rewards, HRIS and HR service delivery, to ensure alignment with Vidant Health's goals, strategies, operational needs and stewardship considerations, in support of our Mission and Values.
Ensure organizational support around identified goals, strategies, budgets, and metrics associated with total rewards, HRIS and HR service delivery. Translate strategies into actionable initiatives that enable achievement of results that align with established goals.
Build the organizational structure, talent, and other capabilities to implement and operate the total rewards, HRIS and HR service delivery functions. Establish, measure, and achieve total rewards, HRIS and HR service delivery performance metrics, consistent with Vidant Health expectations.
Works in partnership with management leaders and physicians and others in ensuring that areas of responsibility are aligned with the Mission, Vision and Values. Ensures that policies, procedures, and practices result in clinical, service and operational excellence.
Functions as a key liaison between the leadership, physician partners and staff.
Scope: Vidant Health is a mission-driven, 1,512-bed health system that annually serves more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
The not-for-profit system is made up of more than 12,500 employees, eight hospitals, home health, hospice, wellness centers, and Vidant Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician and provider group with more than 500 providers in more than 90 locations in eastern North Carolina.

Master's degree is required.
Certifications are preferred.
15 years of relevant work experience required.
