Vidant Medical Transport provides critical care air and ground service to areas within 150 miles of Greenville, North Carolina. Children's Transport Respiratory Therapist will function as a member of the critical care transport team and be responsible for the care of critically ill and injured pediatric and neonatal patients, by air and ground, working in conjunction with Vidant EastCare. The respiratory therapist administers competent care of patients through airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapies, respiratory care procedures, and advanced practice procedures per Children's Transport medical director and following the North Carolina Office of Emergency Service (NCOEMS) guidelines. You will also be assisting the Children's Hospital respiratory therapists when transports are not required.
