We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary

Basic patient care. Process radiographs. Prepare  and sort films. Order/maintain supplies. Sterile techniques. Answers phones/takes messages. Assists technologists and physicians, Utilize RMS, PC, computer terminals. Maintain patient logs. Work in various areas of the department. This person will be responsible for monitoring the patients in the Radiology holding areas while they wait for scans and while they wait to return to room.  These are not RN monitored patients.


Minimum Requirements

  • High School or equivalent
  • Basic Cardiac  Life Support is required.
  • 1 - 2 years experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Escorter or other patient care experience is required.

  • Full time with benefits
  • Hours 4:00pm to 12:30am (evenings/nights). These hours are subject to change
