Position Summary

A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received edcation and clincal experience and completed ARDMS certification/s, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.

Minimum Requirements

  • ARDMS registered (physics and one specialty exam AB, OB/GYN) required
  • Must be RVT or RVS certified within 12 months of employment/transfer required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association certification is required

Other Information

  • As Needed position (no benefits)
  • Must be flexible in shifts/days
