Vidant Medical Center is a 900+ bed Level-1 Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties.   • Team Members in this position will reflect a commitment to the Vidant Health values Integrity, Compassion, Education, Accountability, Safety and Teamwork and play a vital role in the experience our patients, families, and visitors have while in our facilities.  As a central point of contact, they greet and assist all individuals who enter a Vidant Health facility, serve as a liaison between patient/families and members of the health care team, and work in partnership with all hospital departments to help ensure that everyone has an exceptional experience. 

Minimum Requirements

  • High school or equivalent is required.
  • 3 months to 1 year experience as a receptionist, switchboard, hotel/motel, direct customer/public service or other guest relations experience is required. 

Other Information

  • 40 hours, hours may be evenings 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm or nights 11:00pm - 7:00 am.  Includes every other weekend,
