Vidant Bertie Hospital is a six-bed critical access state-of-the-art facility located in Windsor, North Carolina that provides surgical, emergency and diagnostic services, specialty clinics and primary care clinics. Our primary care physician practice operates the Vidant Family Medicine - Windsor and we have a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The Emergency Medicine Physicians see approximately 30 patients per day, as well a cover the 6 inpatient beds during nights and weekends. Our medical staff includes some of the finest primary care, internal medicine physicians and surgeons in the region.
Provide CT medical imaging services for patients in accordance with physician ordes and established protocols. Use professional educaiton and judgment in regards to radiation safety to patient and self. Must have working knowledge of all CT protocols, knowledge of CT equipment including IV contrast power injector. Understands the use of hte IV contrast screening sheet and all areas of documentation required. Adheres to the First Pharmacy Review process and policy. Must have proper training and documentation there of training in starting IV lines for contrast injection. Must have understanding of Healthspan and the Philips PACS system.
Associates Degree in Applied Science for Radiologic Technology
ARRT Registered in Radiology
Computed Tomography registered preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
