Identifies, transports patients to, from and within the OR Suite.
Assists with patient positioning which includes holding extremities during surgical prep, turning patients onto surgical table/frame. Assist nursing staff with retrieving and returning equipment, supplies, implants. Assembles and stamps paperwork, prepares equipment ie; fracture table.
Clean the OR suite according to Policy and Procedure between cases and is responsible for terminal cleaning of the suite. Transport specimens, lab work, patients beds to and from the OR. Does shave prep of patient.
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Also BLS Certification Required.
Prefer one year hospital experience or operating room experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Hours are 11am-7pm Monday to Friday. Weekend call is required as part of this job
