Position Summary

As the Coordinator for Volunteer Services, you will be conducting recruiting, screening, interviewing and training for new volunteers: reviews new volunteer requests and assign appropriate volunteers to meet the needs. Develops a plan to recruit new volunteers to the service and sets monthly goals for that development. Promotes community interest in Cancer Center/Hospital-wide Volunteer program and the hospital through speaking engagements, special receptions, hospital tours and other activities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Family and Child Development or related degree required
  • 1 to 3 years previous experience working with volunteers, teams and work with a service industry
  • Must have Valid N.C. driver's license with minimum NC automobile insurance requirements
