Vidant Medical Center is the only rehabilitation center in eastern NC with specialty units for Stroke Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, Brain Injury, Neuro and Spinal Cord Injury. Vidant Medical Center also has 6 CARF accredited programs. Programs and equipment include Lokomat, ZeroG Harness, Bioness, and Biodex.
The Program Manager, Rehab Perform Improv, Accred & Reg directs and supports to Rehabilitation Service Line leaders for Performance Measurement and Improvement initiatives consistent with the organization's goals and regulatory standards; identifies opportunities and uses data and measurement to drive processes; develops and reviews standard operating procedures and supporting policies. Directs the activities of the rehab CMS prospective payment system (PPS) office and supervises staff; oversees documentation compliance, utilization review and supervises Clinical Documentation Specialist. Directs activities that support CARF accreditation and maintenance all programs. Keeps current with all Rehab Regulatory inclusive but not limit to the IRF and outpatient Rehab services.
Master's Degree or higher in any Rehabilitation discipline such Rehab Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathologist, Rehab Case Management
Licensure/certification in professional field required.
Outcomes Measurement and Data Analysis is required.
Training design and data analysis may be substituted for one year of experience is required.
3 years or greater experience: Study/project design and analysis, outcomes management, clinical expertise in rehabilitation area(s), performance management, documentation and regulatory compliance for IRFs, presentation design and delivery skills, computer applications such as PowerPoint, excel.
Hours are generally 8-5pm Monday to Friday.
