Position Summary
Position is responsible for the ongoing development and data integrity of Vidant Health's Decision Support System EPSi. Position will assist with the technical needs that arise including upgrades, enhancements, audits and change requests of the system. Position exists to support all the modules within these systems and acts as system administrator. This position also consults with the Financial Planning Department adding expertise with specialized analyses where accuracy is vital. Analyze cost data to ensure costs are allocated appropriately which ensures performance of services are accurately reported. This performance data is used to make operational decisions. Position works to ensure the goals of the department are met accurately and efficiently. Position will work with service line executives and business liaisons in the development and refinement of reporting needs of those respective service lines, etc. Position will work closely with systems analysts, health system end users, Information System technical staff and others. Position is also responsible for coordination and completion of surveys, state data submittal, month end reports, and educating new users. Position works with minimum supervision, conferring with supervision on unusual matters.
