The Director, HR Talent Acquisition is a strategic role designed to manage best in class talent acquisition services to support Vidant Health System by leading and overseeing all strategic initiatives across the Talent Acquisition (TA) team.
This Director-level position is responsible for setting the overarching talent acquisition strategy, in collaboration with VP, HR Talent & Organization Development, ensuring alignment of talent acquisition strategies to overall organizational and HR goals and key stakeholders. The position will manage talent acquisition teams to ensure value add, quality programs, and execution, and evaluate ROI within each functional area by managing continuous improvement activities.
This role will also monitor effectiveness, anticipating emerging needs, establishing and maintaining key relationships, developing talent acquisition policies, and ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience.
The Director ensures that the Talent Acquisition practice builds trust with hiring managers and candidates, focuses on attracting world- class talent, while improving time to hire and increasing retention.
This Director position will also determine the entire department budget and allocate funds and resources appropriately.
The incumbent will report to the VP, HR Talent & Organization Development and manage a team consisting of managers and team members for Corporate Talent Acquisition, Nurse Recruitment, and Temporary Workforce Vendor Management.
4 year college degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required.
5 or more years of progressively responsible human resources experience is required.
