Executive responsible for the health system supply chain and materials management functions with a total organization spend greater than $250 million. Responsible for developing and implementing opportunities to form relationships and create economic value across the Vidant Health system including regional hospitals and providers within Vidant owned physician offices. Executive lead for relationship with Group Purchasing Organization to develop cost reduction opportunities, realize savings and efficiencies through purchasing volume and leveraging discounts with manufacturers, distributors and other vendors.
Scope: Vidant Health is a not-for-profit health system. The Vidant Health System is made up of 12,000 employees, eight hospitals, home health, hospice, wellness centers, and Vidant Medical Group, a multispecialty physician and provider group with 428 providers in 80 practice sites. Vidant Health is affiliated with The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The mission driven 1,447-bed health system serves more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
Master's Degree is required.
