Vidant Medical Center is a 900+ bed Level-1 Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties. Position Summary

  • Assures accurate and timely information is provided to customers using standard operating procedures for Office of Quality
  • Reviews data dictionaries as appropriate for accuracy and routinely validates data sources and outputs

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Decision Science, Business, Public Health, or related field
  • Two to three years experience with database management, in financial services, information services, or planning
  • 5 years experience in healthcare setting
  • Certification in specialty preferred  in 3 years and recertified every 2 years
