Position Summary
Pharmacists at Vidant Medical Center are committed to the safe and effective use of medications through maximizing drug distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes; educating patients, providers, and ourselves on best practices; and fully integrating pharmacists into the continuum of care. Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice.
Minimum Requirements
College degree plus other schooling. B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy is required
Must be Licensed in North Carolina prior to start date or within 30 days of hire
Hospital experience is preferred
Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually
BLS from American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire
PGY1 residency strongly preferred

Full Time with Benefits
Shift: Nights. 7 on/7 off
Relocation allowance if needed (75 miles minimum)
