Full-time opportunities (36 hours/week) NIGHTS 7:00pm to 7:00am (Adult Services and Children's Hospital)
Position Summary
The Advanced RCP will be expected to focus in critical care areas, participate in research, lead patient education activities and function as a mentor to the AAS degree RCP's.The RCP-A will have advanced knowledge, critical thinking skills, professional development, and critcial care expertise of Respiratory Care procedures. They will be involved in assisting with case management and the discharge planning processes. They will be called on to function as chronic pulmonary patient navagators.
Minimum Requirements
BS degree (perfer BSRT)
Neonatal Pediatric Specality (NPS) or the Adult Critical Care specality (ACCS ) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
RRT required
ACLS or PALS and BLS for children services NRP required.
3 years to 5 years: Two of these years may include the clinical time in a COARC accrediated respiratory degree program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association
