Position Summary
Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities. The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of Vidant Health and the pharmacy department. Further expectations are to actively engage in professional self-development and take a proactive approach to learning.
Minimum Requirements
High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
PTCB Certification - CPhT preferred
One year of experience in hospital or retail pharmacy setting strongly preferred
Other Information
As Needed position (no benefits)
Every other weekend, some holidays, and the shift will be 11:00am – 7:00pm or 2:00pm to 10:30pm (hours may vary)
Other hours as needed
Training usually during day shift
