Position Summary

  • The nurse manager practices in the framework of the mission, vision and values of Vidant Health and maintains 24-hour accountability for unit operations.
  • The manager is a clinical leader with focus on producing excellent patient outcomes, patient and family engagement, workforce management/ development and clinical efficiency.
  • The nurse manager is the front line leader who partners with physicians and manages staff and resources to promote safe, timely, efficient, effective and patient focused unit operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Three to four years related experience
