Position Summary

The ultrasound technologist produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by the physician in diagnosing disease and studying malfunction of organs. He/She modifies and delivers care that is specific to the age, growth and level of development of patients including adolescent, adult, and geriatric. The technologist must be familiar with all Radiologist Protocols for general ultrasound examinations.

Minimum Requirements

TwoYear Degree Required
Diagnostic technologist RT( R ), preferred but not required.
The employee must have an ARDMS registration with current certification (with OB/GYN specialty, preferred for OBGYN Clinic ONLY) or registry obtained within the first six months of employment.
A minimum of two (2) years AMA accredited program in radiologic technology or ultrasound.
CPR Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Other Information

Part-time position, 20 hours per week

Clinic open Monday- Friday
