Position Summary

  • Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.

Minimum Requirements

  • HS graduate or equivalent required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider status is required upon hire.
  • Requires at least three months of relative work experience. Working knowledge of equipment utilization, maintenance and safety.

Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant.
