The Medical ICU is a closed 24 bed unit that provides support for the critically ill medical and/or pulmonary patient. MICU serves as the pulmonary critical care team and critical care consult team; critical care intensivists manage care and are in-house 24/7. The patient population within the MICU will include, but are not limited to these diagnoses/conditions:
