Central Staffing is the float pool for Vidant Medical Center, the primary population will be the unit where the staff is floated.
Registered nurses provide care in conjunction with the nursing assistant and medical team. Assignments are based on the patient’s needs, the geographical location of the patients, and the resources available. The charge nurse does not have a patient assignment. BLS is required upon hire.

Central Staffing RNs float to all divisions within Vidant Medical Center and receive a $5/hr differential in addition to base pay and shift differentials once orientation is completed
$10,000 sign-on / retention bonus
**New Shift Differential Approved**
$3.50 - Second Shift
$5.00 - Night shift (7pm-7am)
$5.00 - Weekend Day
$10.00 - Weekend Night
