Funding the future of health care.

How does Vidant Health continue to grow while other systems struggle in today’s changing health care landscape? The Vidant Health Foundation is a huge part of our ongoing success. In support of the Vidant Health mission to enhance the quality of life for the people and communities we serve, the Foundation ensures that every donation goes directly to key initiatives—and that means more opportunities for you.

Tomorrow’s looking good.

Our network of regional foundations and development councils—spearheaded by the Vidant Health Foundation—supports our system of care through equipment purchases, capital construction, education, patient and family support, community benefits, health initiatives and much more. What does all this mean to our employees? It means ever-expanding opportunities that come with progress—whether in the form of new technologies, new facilities, or new programs and services. It means tele-health implementation, a new emergency department at a community hospital, a new primary clinic, a new pediatric asthma program, a dedicated state-of-the-art children’s hospital and a new cancer center. And we’re just getting started.

Inspiration for all ages.

An independent, non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable corporation, the Vidant Health Foundation has been a leader in developing relationships and securing financial resources for target health and wellness services since 1980. One of our most significant relationships is with the Children’s Miracle Network. With the CMN Hospitals program, we’re able to support wonderful initiatives through the new James & Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital—from supplementing pediatric programs at regional hospitals to sending children with chronic diseases to special summer camps. The efforts of the Vidant Health Foundation are a source of inspiration for all of us.
