GREENVILLE-Physician assistants, Elina DeFranceschi and Caitlin Sippey, joined Vidant Neurosurgery, located at 2325 Stantonsburg Rd., on Jan. 23.
DeFranceschi earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA. Her areas of interest are functional neurosurgery, cerebrovascular surgery and brain surgery. “I am excited to join Vidant Neurosurgery and work alongside providers who are dedicated, hardworking and who strive to excel in patient care,” DeFranceschi said. “I look forward to sharing my experience and expanding my knowledge at an academically-focused medical center, in a specialty that I am passionate about.”
Sippey earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her areas of interest are neurological surgery, spine surgery, intracranial tumors and cerebrovascular disease. “I feel so fortunate to be joining such a talented and genuine group of providers and I am eager to contribute my own skills and passion to providing quality care for our patients,” Sippey said.
