GREENVILLE – Albert “Foster” Hunt, a physician assistant, will join Vidant Neurosurgery, located at 2325 Stantonsburg Rd., on Feb. 20.
Hunt completed his undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University, before enlisting in the Marine Corps. He served as a combat photographer for five years, where he learned about the role of the physician assistant, leading him to pursue it as a career. Following his time in the military, Hunt enrolled in the physician assistant program at East Carolina University where he recently earned a Master of Science.
“My first clinical rotation was with Dr. Keith Tucci and physician assistant, Connie Cerne, in neurosurgery, where I fell in love with the field,” Hunt said. “I am excited to be a part of a talented clinical team that it truly part of the community but also nationally recognized.”
Hunt’s areas of interest include neurosurgery, general surgery and emergency medicine. He will be working alongside Dr. Tucci at the practice. To schedule an appointment, call (252) 847-1550.
