TARBORO, NC – Dr. Sandeep Pandit has joined Vidant Oncology in Tarboro, bringing more than 17 years of experience to the community.

Having previously served in a part-time capacity with this practice, Dr. Pandit specializes in blood disorders and cancer, especially those of the lungs, breast, digestive system, genitals and urinary organs. He trained at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in India, Lincoln Medical Center in New York and Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

“I consider it a privilege to be able to treat cancer patients and help alleviate their pain and suffering,” Dr. Pandit said. “I am excited to join Vidant Health, as I have been impressed by the extreme dedication of the team here in Tarboro.”

Dr. Pandit is accepting new patients by physician referral. The practice is located at 123 Hospital Drive in Tarboro.
