GREENVILLE-Dr. Sabeen Abid joined Vidant Gastroenterology – Greenville, located at 521 Moye Blvd., on Nov. 14.
Dr. Abid is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. She completed a fellowship in hepatology and liver transplantation and is currently enrolled in a gastroenterology fellowship with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Her areas of interest are gastrointestinal disorders in women, liver disease, hepatitis and Barrett’s esophagus.
“I am excited to be a part of the practice. I believe that this set up will fully complement my ambitions to provide exceptional gastroenterology care to the people of eastern North Carolina,” Abid said. “I am eagerly looking forward to contribute to our collective goals of provide quality patient care, medical education and research.”
