GREENVILLE- Dr. Musharraf Navaid, a board certified internal medicine physician, joined the Vidant oncology team at the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center in Greenville.
Navaid graduated from the Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He is board certified in internal medicine, hospice and palliative care and sleep medicine. He most recently completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
His areas of interest include cancers of the colon, rectal, hepatic/liver, pancreas, kidney, bladder and prostate. “I am very excited to join the great team of hematologists and oncologists at the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center,” Navaid said. “It is an exciting time in Vidant Cancer Care with the new state-of-the-art cancer center and bed tower opening in 2018. I am happy to be a part of what this new facility will bring to the people of eastern North Carolina.”
