GREENVILLE - Dr. Kara Regan, a certified internal and gastroenterological physician, joined Vidant Gastroenterology – Greenville, located at 521 Moye Blvd., on Jan. 23.
Regan, raised in eastern North Carolina, earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She is returning to Greenville after most recently practicing in Saint Louis, MO. Her areas of interest are endoscopic ultrasound, diseases of the pancreas, endoscopic evaluation and treatment of Barrett’s esophagus, single balloon endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, evaluation and management of chronic diarrhea.
“I am excited to be coming back to Greenville and to Vidant to what I consider home and being closer to family,” Regan said. “I look forward to establishing a strong practice that will allow me to care for my patients and their families over the years to come.”
