Meet our Current Residents

Joshua Holmes

Joshua Holmes is from Haw River, North Carolina.  He earned a B.S. in General Science with a concentration in Clinical Research from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2015, then continued with Campbell University to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Clinical Research degrees in 2018.  Joshua is greatly looking forward to exploring his clinical interests through residency, ranging from infectious disease (especially care of patients living with HIV) to transitional care to drug information.  His long-term goals include continued involvement with pharmacy education through either academia or clinical precepting.  Outside of pharmacy, Joshua enjoys reading, playing tennis or volleyball, and cooking.  In his free time, you can find Joshua exploring local coffeehouses and cafes, attempting the reenact the latest episode of Chopped in his kitchen, or planning his next trip to the beach or Walt Disney World.

Spencer Livengood

Spencer Livengood is from Concord, North Carolina. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wingate University School of Pharmacy in 2018. His areas of interest include critical care, infectious disease and emergency medicine. Upon completion of the PGY-1 residency program, Spencer plans to pursue additional training in the form of a PGY-2 specialized residency in critical care. His eventual goal is to obtain a teaching pharmacist position with a school of pharmacy, while precepting students and residents within an academic medical center. In his spare time, Spencer enjoys running 5ks and half-marathons with his family and watching any North Carolina professional sports teams.

Christopher Gauger

Christopher Gauger is from Asheville, North Carolina.  He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2015.  After graduation he worked as a perioperative/operating room pharmacist and later as an emergency department pharmacist.  His areas of interest include critical care, emergency medicine, and internal medicine.  Upon completing his PGY1 residency training, Chris plans to pursue a PGY2 in critical care with the goal of practicing as a clinical pharmacist and educating future pharmacists and medical professionals.  In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks, and trying out new restaurants.

Kristopher Kindborg

Kristopher Kindborg is from New York, New York. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Campbell University in 2018. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from New York University in 2007. Kristopher's therapeutic areas of interest include cardiology, infectious disease and critical care. After completion of his PGY-1 residency program, he plans to complete a PGY-2 residency and eventually obtain a position as a clinical pharmacist at an academic medical center. In his spare time, Kristopher enjoys watching Mets baseball, working out and going to the movies.

Chris Demitraszek

Christopher Demitraszek is from Salisbury, North Carolina. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Campbell University in 2017 and completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Vidant Medical Center. He is completing his PGY2 Critical Care Residency, and his interests include anticoagulation and acute kidney injury. In his spare time Chris enjoys spending his time with his friends, going to the movies and working out.
