Meet our Current Residents

Ashlee Baucom, PGY1

Ashlee Baucom is from Wake Forest, North Carolina. She received her B.S. in General Science with a concentration in Clinical Research from Campbell University in 2014. She went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2017. Her clinical areas of interests include pediatrics, cardiology and internal medicine. After completing her PGY1 residency training, she plans to pursue a PGY2 in pediatrics with the ultimate goal of obtaining a clinical pharmacy practice position in an academic medical center with teaching and precepting responsibilities. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and watching the Clemson Tigers and Carolina Panthers play football.


Lindsay Carter, PGY1

Lindsay is from Apex, North Carolina. She is a women’s soccer alum of Western Carolina University where she received her B.S. in Biology before going on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2017. Lindsay’s primary areas of interest include cardiology and internal medicine. She is interested in pursuing a PGY2 in cardiology and plans on evaluating that interest during her PGY1 residency at Vidant Medical Center. After completing her residency training, she plans to obtain board certification and practice as a clinical pharmacist and preceptor at an academic medical center. Outside of pharmacy, Lindsay loves blogging, exercising, being outdoors, eating, watching movies, shopping and enjoying a glass of wine with family and friends.

Christopher Demitraszek, PGY1

Christopher Demitraszek is from Salisbury, North Carolina. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Masters of Science in Clinical Research from Campbell University in 2017. His areas of interest include emergency medicine, critical care and internal medicine. Upon completion of the PGY-1 residency program Chris plans to pursue additional training in the form of a PGY-2 specialized residency in an area of interest. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending his time with his friends, going to the movies and working out.

Lindsey Stever, PGY1

Lindsey Stever is from Wake Forest, North Carolina and received both her B.S. in Clinical Research and Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University. Her current practice interests are internal medicine and ambulatory care, as well as research. Upon completion of the PGY1 residency program at Vidant Medical Center, she plans on pursuing additional training in an area of interest. Lindsey’s career goals include practicing as a clinical pharmacist at an academically-affiliated practice site. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys water skiing and hitting the trails with her horse, Zenwyler.

Breanne Martinez, PGY2 Critical Care

Breanne is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her B.S. in Biology and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of South Carolina. She completed her PGY-1 training at Saint Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky where she solidified her interest in the critical care setting. Breanne’s clinical interests include trauma, ICU induced delirium and medication safety in the ICU. Following her PGY-2 residency, Breanne plans to obtain board certification in critical care and practice in an academic medical center with precepting responsibilities. She enjoys running, online shopping, cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks and binge-watching Netflix with her Australian Shepherd and her boyfriend.
