Meet our Current Residents

  Jennifer Adema is from Raleigh, North Carolina. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration degrees from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in 2019. Her areas of interest include internal medicine and infectious disease, but she’s excited to explore many other specialties during her year at Vidant Medical Center. Jennifer plans to pursue additional training in the form of a PGY2 with an internal medicine focus. Her long-term goals include being a general medicine clinical pharmacist while regularly precepting students. When she’s not at the hospital, you can find Jennifer cooking, playing card games with family, or trying out all of the restaurants in Greenville!

Stephanie Bills is from Ridgeley, West Virginia. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in 2019. Her areas of interest include critical care and infectious disease. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency training, Stephanie plans to pursue a PGY2 in critical care. Ultimately, her goal is to obtain a position at an academic medical center, practicing as a clinical pharmacist and preceptor of pharmacy learners. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to sporting events, and watching movies.

  Britany Byrkit is from Largo, Florida. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wingate University School of Pharmacy in 2019. Her areas of interest include emergency medicine, trauma, critical care, and infectious disease. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, Britany plans to pursue a PGY2 in emergency medicine. After residency, Britany hopes to precept students in the emergency department at an academic medical center. In her spare time, Britany enjoys stargazing, cooking and spending time with her family.

  Katherine Wilbur is from Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2019. Her areas of interest include infectious disease and critical care.  Katie is looking forward to exploring her interests through residency experiences in antimicrobial stewardship and MICU to determine her future plans for PGY2. Her long-term goals include practicing as a clinical pharmacist and educating future pharmacists.  In her spare time Katie enjoys cheering on the New England Patriots and the South Carolina Gamecocks, and trying new breweries and restaurants.

  Keri Diehl is from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy in 2018. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Keri is currently completing her PGY2 Critical Care Residency, and her interests include sepsis, ACLS, emergency medicine, and precepting. After residency, her professional goals are to obtain a clinical pharmacist position at an academic medical center working with pharmacy students and residents in a critical care setting. In her spare time, Keri enjoys spending time with her dog Ellie, baking, playing the cello, and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
