  • Set up and operate radiographic equipment
  • Adjust and set radiographic controls, such as kilo voltage and milliamperage, to prescribed specifications
  • Positions and takes X-Ray images of patients
  • Check X-Ray for clarity
  • Develops film using automatic processor
  • Maintain Quality Control on Equipment
  •  Maintains required records
  • Prepares Radiation Protection plan for practice
  • Maintain quality control to assure radiology program meets standards according to the North Carolina Department of
  • Health and Human Service for radiation safety
  • Assist with patient care activities
  • Perform health screenings such as vision, blood pressure, weight and vitals
  • Enter and maintain patient documentation such as patient assessment, follow-ups and visits
  •  Prepares charts, maintains and updates forms and prepares documentation paperwork
  • Prepares reports as requested
  • Engage in patient follow-up and referral activity
  • Perform other clinical functions per protocol. Protects patients and other personnel from radiation hazards

Minimum Requirements

  • High School + 2 plus years of formal training/education
  • Current certification with the American Society of Radiologic Technologist required
  • Less than 1 year of Hospital radiology department or medical office experience required

  • Full-time position
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
