Position Summary

Perform invasive and non invasive ultrasound procedures, doppler vascular examinations, deep abdominal studies and color flow ultrasound as required. Assist with performing ultrasound guided endovenous ablations on lower extremeties of patients with reduced blood flow.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 1 - 2 years of formal training/education is required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as Registered Vascular Technologist or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as Registered Vascular Sonographer required.
  • Registered Vascular Sonographer could also earn ARRT through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • 1 -3 years ambulatory or hospital setting is required.
