  • Coordinate quality activities to ensure VMC Transplant Services is in compliance with all required standards and has an integrated, consistent plan for complying with all required federal regulations for transplant centers.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives with the Transplant Center, including review of evidenced based literature / benchmarks and suggest revisions / additions to the indicators for monitoring and evaluation of quality of care.
  • Coordinate with Transplant Administrator and Transplant Surgical Director the presentation of quality data to the Clinical Renal Transplant Group, Transplant Quality Committee and the Divisional Perioperative Quality Committee.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 yr college degree in Business, Nursing or Allied Health
  • Minimum of three years progressively related work experience with performance improvement, patient safety and quality and project management.
  • Good critical thinking skills and strong interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Requirements

  • Masters degree in a health related field preferred but not required. 

Other Information

  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday
  • Flexible Hours between 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • No call required
  • Conference attendance funding is available
